WEAR A HAT DAY - feb 12
international childhood cancer day & taylans project
Students and staff were encouraged to wear a hat, wig or cap to school on Friday 12 February to help raise funds for two excellent causes -'International Childhood Cancer Day' and 'Taylans Project'. Over £155 was raised.
The support was tremendous with a wide variety of creations being adorned by some and enjoyed by all! The top 10 hats were awarded VIVO points. Congratulations to the winner Beric Garrett, Jack Staszweski who came 2nd and 3rd place winner Maddy Entecott.
Taylans Project
Unfortunately one of our invigilator's friends lost their 7 year old boy to a brain tumour last August, as a result of this they have started 'Taylan's Project'. If you can spare the time please take a look at Taylan's Project website: www.taylansproject.com.
