On Monday we travelled on the coach from 12.45 to half past 1, luckily the coach had TV’s so we didn’t get bored. Soon after we went on the one and a half hour crossing to Calais, which felt more like two minutes. Later we settled down in the hostel, from where we travelled to the Christmas Market which was extremely fun. We had a river cruise with hot chocolate which was fantastic.
On Tuesday we could either wander around the Dom Platz Christmas markets or climb the gothic cathedral. After we went ice skating where lots of us found ourselves falling over. In the afternoon we went to the chocolate museum and sport museum. When dinner was finished we went bowling at West bowling which was fun as we had a great game with our friends.
On Wednesday we went to Aachen to see the Christmas markets and also did a questionnaire. After the rain, sleet and thunder we went to a café where we had cake and a hot chocolate.
Later we went back to the hostel and went to a Christmas market one last time.
On Thursday we travelled home. Germany was a lovely trip and I recommend it to everyone in the future.
