raf visit the academy

On Wednesday 12th January 2011 Skill Force year 10 students invited the RAF Falcons to present at an assembly and attend a tea party, hosted by the Skill Force students!
Two Parachute Display Team instructors, Mark and Carl attended the tea party which was organised by the students themselves. This included food, drinks and entertainment and the event was a big success for all.
The students were doing this to complete their communication module and gain evidence towards their Certificate of Personal Effectiveness.
The RAF Falcon parachute display team gave a fun interactive presentation and brought with them both old and new parachute equipment for the students try on; helping the students to gain insight into the roles and responsibilities of a RAF Falcon.
