New Animation Workshop

The Academy is running an after school Stop Motion Animation Workshop on Tuesday evenings from 1700 - 1900, starting today, 31st January.

School Stop Motion Animation Club

The workshop, teaching 'Wallace and Gromit' style model animation, will run for approximately eight weeks where students will learn the basics in stop motion.

The workshop will include the folowing:

  • Week 1 – Introduction to Stop Motion Animation
  • Week 2 – Ideas, Stories and Storyboards
  • Week 3 – Frame Rates and Key Frames
  • Week 4 – Building Armatures, Models and Sets
  • Week 5 – Shooting Your Animation Scenes
  • Week 6 – Bringing it all Together
  • Week 7 – Adding the Sound
  • Week 8 – Post Production and Exporting the Finished Animation
