road safety for academy students

In order to encourage our younger students to be safe on the roads, our Community Police Officer recently led an assembly with year 7's and 9's. In addition the Academy hosted a poster competition where students were asked to submit a poster promoting road saftey.
Entries where narrowed down to 10 finalists from which the following winners were selected:
- 1st Place - Joint Winners: Abbie Lambert, Matt Thomas & Josh Wilson
- 3rd Place - Rhys Peploe
- 4th Place - Marshall Exler

Our judges (a cross section of college staff), particularly liked the Lego characters which told the story in the joint winning entry by Josh Wilson and Matt Thomas and the use of mixed media in the joint winning entry by Abbie Lambert.
