Reading is always at the very heart of learning.  Therefore, providing the children of all ages as wide a selection of reading material as possible is one of our central goals and our library attempts to help us meet this.  Containing a range of fiction and non-fiction titles, each class is provided with a weekly slot in which the children can peruse and then take out books of their choice.  Supporting the management of the library are several teams of Year 6 pupils who ensure it remains tidy, returned books are correctly reshelved and new titles are correctly logged on the system.  Additionally, they attempt to make the library a pleasant and comfortable environment to meet, learn and of course read.
