science - careers

science is for life

We believe that science is for life and by capturing the interest and imagination of pupils we can stimulate their life long interest in the scientific aspects of the world around them. We also believe that the scientific approach to problem solving through experimentation is an excellent foundation for their future careers, scientific or otherwise.

Occasional visiting speakers from the world of science with science challenges both in school and outside the school offers pupils further opportunity to develop their interests.

An information board highlighting the varierty of careers in the world of science allows our pupils to think about and set targets for the future.
