Academy Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)

All students at The Aylesbury Vale Academy have access to our internet based virtual learning environment where various interactive learning activities and resources are available.

Academy Departments create 'courses' on the VLE to compliment and enforce classroom lessons. The VLE offers a wide variety of tools including quizzes, questionnaires, forums, podcasts, blogs, webpages, workshops. slideshows, wikis etc. to enable teachers to deliver course content. Links to external resources can be created and single or multiple assignments can be submitted online by students depending on course requirements.

The VLE is a fantastic resource which we encourage all students to utilise. It has proved particularly useful during school closures, holidays and throughout exceptionally important periods such as during our Year 11 study leave.

To access the system students must use their Academy (buckgfl.org.uk) email login and password. Course specific queries must be posed to the relevant class/subject teacher.

Click here to access the VLE.

SAM Learning

At The Aylesbury Vale Academy we are always looking for ways to extend our students' learning. Part of our improvement programme involves the use of SAM Learning, an online service that covers all subjects designed to help students reach their full potential.

SAM Learning has a proven track record with studies demonstrating that using the service leads to better exam results.

SAM learning offers anytime, anywhere learning for KS3, KS4 and KS5 students. All that is required is to visit the website and login with their unique login details - which can be obtained via their form tutor.

A parent guide on the service can be downloaded here.

Access to the SAM Learning website can be found here.
