A Wonderful Author Visit from Rachel Bright and Jim Field at AVA Primary

We were delighted to welcome children's author Rachel Bright and illustrator Jim Field to AVA Primary for a fantastic celebration of books, storytelling and creativity!
Rachel and Jim shared how they began their careers and where they find inspiration for their wonderful stories and illustrations. There was plenty of laughter, enthusiastic animal noises and even a drawing lesson, with Jim showing the children how to draw the beaver from their new book!
The children were also treated to readings of two much-loved stories, The Most Magnificent Moose and The Koala That Could.
Our pupils represented AVA Primary wonderfully, demonstrating fantastic enthusiasm, engagement and a real love of reading.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who purchased books, and to Ben and the team at Our Bookshop in Tring for organising another memorable author visit.
Parents and carers can still order a signed copy of The Most Magnificent Moose - HERE
