AVA Students Design New Canterbury Rugby Kit

On Wednesday the 14th October four students were selected to create history at the Academy.  As part of our funding from the RFU to improve rugby at the Academy, England Rugby Kit makers Canterbury gave us the opportunity to design a bespoke Rugby kit for the students to wear in rugby matches when representing the Aylesbury Vale Academy.  This was an amazing opportunity for these selected students to create a lasting sporting legacy at the Academy.

This was an amazing opportunity for these selected students to create a lasting sporting legacy at the Academy.

The day took place at the home of the Saracens, Allianz Park. James  Anderson, Ben Culbert, Thomas Rivett and James Atkinson were put through their paces in order to create the perfect rugby shirt.  The students worked closely with the Canterbury designers in order to represent what it means to part of the Aylesbury Vale Academy.

The final design was chosen by the students to go the Canterbury factory to be made and the shirts will be delivered by February. Well done to all the students involved and we look forward to unveiling our first bespoke rugby shirt.
