Year 11 Information
The last 12 months went by like a flash, we saw our year 10 students begin their GCSE courses. If we thought Year 10 flew by, I can assure you that Year 11 will go even quicker! This year we will continue to prepare all students for their GCSE exams next May and June, ensuring every student is exam ready.
During the course of the year students will participate in numerous activities to ensure they are well equipped to tackle the exams head on, including revision techniques, exam preparation and dealing with the added pressure the exams may bring.
Guidance will also be offered on choices beyond Year 11 including applying for Sixth Form, college and apprenticeships, as well as career advice.
The Year 11 team will continue to monitor academic progress, achievement, behaviour and attendance closely, celebrating success inside and outside the classroom with award assemblies and evenings.
If you would like to discuss your child’s progress with any of the year 11 team, please do not hesitate to contact us. I look forward to working with you.
