Year 11 Parents’ Evening will take place on Thursday 22 January, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. This is an opportunity to discuss your child’s progress with their teachers, including their recently sat Pre-Public Exam results.
There is a wide range of Year 11 revision resources on our school website to support students with English, Science and Maths.
Just before the Christmas break, our Year 8 students were lucky enough to enjoy a special visit from Sammy Angelo, an up‑and‑coming singer-songwriter who shared both his music and a powerful message about mental health and resilience.
We’re excited to launch a trip of a lifetime to Iceland, open to all GCSE and A Level Geographers. From waterfalls and glaciers to hot springs and the Northern Lights, this is an unforgettable opportunity to see geography in action.

AVA staff came together on Friday 21 November for a lively Quiz Night in support of Diabetes UK. A dozen teams from both Primary and Secondary phases took part, raising almost £1,000 for the charity.
