Author Visit – M.G. Leonard Inspires Years 4, 5 and 6
We were delighted to welcome acclaimed author M.G. Leonard to AVA recently to speak to pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6 about her new book, Attack of the Sea Dogs.
Her books are often steeped in history, and she shared fascinating facts from a range of eras, from Tutankhamun to Sir Francis Drake. Pupils – and adults – were completely captivated by her storytelling.
A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who supported the visit, and to Our Bookshop in Tring, whose support enables these author visits to remain free for our pupils.
If you would still like to purchase Attack of the Sea Dogs, you can do so via the Our Bookshop link HERE. Please select home delivery, as the school visit has now taken place.
