Yondr Phone Free Schools
On Monday 2 November all students in Years 7 to 11 will be issued their YONDR mobile phone pouches. They will be expected to arrive at school from Tuesday 03 November onwards with their phones in these pouches.
To support the launch, students will be able to enter the school from 8:00am from Tuesday 3 November, allowing staff to carry out YONDR pouch checks and helping to reduce congestion at the start of the day.
Please note that the official start of the school day remains 8:25am.
Students should arrive with their phone switched off and secured in their YONDR pouch. If a pouch is forgotten, the phone will be stored securely for the day and returned at the end of the school day. Replacement pouches will incur a £20 charge.
For the first week only, a staggered dismissal system will operate to allow students to access unlocking stations safely:
- Years 7 and 9: 2:50pm
- Year 10: 2:55pm
- Years 8 and 11: 3:00pm
Multiple unlocking stations will be available around the school exits, with additional facilities in Reception for students arriving late or leaving during the school day.
