World Book Day Fun at Aylesbury Vale Academy
Our school celebrated World Book Week with various different library and tutor time activities, as well as a Zoom Quiz hosted by the national literacy trust, which our reading ambassadors took part in. We had an exciting book swap this week, where students exchanged their favourite reads!
Teachers also got into the spirit, dressing up as beloved book characters, inspiring everyone to dive into a good story for our whole school DEAR time (Drop Everything And Read).
Reading is a gateway to endless imagination, knowledge, and growth!
