In Art, pupils studied Frida Kahlo, while Media students explored representation in the short film Feeling Through. English welcomed virtual author Jeffrey Boakye, alongside a focus on diverse literature in Literacy and a Book Tasting from Around the World in the Library.
Business examined cultural differences in global trade, and Geography students explored cultures through staff posters and a Year 7 David Attenborough lesson. History students look forward to the Globe Theatre trip, while MFL hosted a café, bake sale and food-based lessons.
PE embraced American sports, Science featured global scientists, Music explored music from Africa, and RS students shared beliefs and customs in a Cultural Show & Tell.
To round off the week, Sixth Form hosted a lively Pot Luck Lunch and Cultural Capital Quiz, while on Friday 13th June, the whole school took part in Cultural Dress Day. Students proudly wore traditional and cultural clothing, celebrating their heritage and highlighting the rich diversity within our school community — a fitting end to an inspiring celebration of global perspectives.
