Year 9 Work Experience Drop Down Day – Friday 13 March
On Friday 13 March, all Year 9 students will take part in their first-ever Work Experience Drop Down Day.
This exciting day has been designed to help students develop their employability skills and gain a better understanding of the world of work. Throughout the day, students will take part in a variety of activities led by visiting professionals, including representatives from the Army, the NHS and a local business.
Our school Enterprise Adviser will also be delivering mock interview sessions, giving students valuable experience of interview situations and helping them to build confidence. In addition, students will have access to a range of virtual work experience courses, which they will complete online during the day.
The programme will provide students with a valuable opportunity to explore future career pathways, strengthen key workplace skills and begin thinking more confidently about their next steps.
