Science Homework Made Simple with Educake
The majority of Science homework will be set via Educake, an online platform used across the school.
Students already have accounts, set up earlier this year. Homework will be set as short quizzes, which can be attempted multiple times. We encourage students to keep trying until they achieve at least 70%, demonstrating a secure understanding. Each quiz also includes useful revision links to support learning.
Homework frequency:
- Years 7–8: one Educake assignment per week
- Years 9–11: two Educake assignments per week
Teachers can track progress and will address any common misconceptions during lessons. Educake can also be used independently for additional practice and revision, particularly for KS4 students.
