A Weekend of Adventure at PGL Liddington (8th-10th May)

And just like that, our PGL Liddington adventure has come to an end… and what a weekend it was!
Over the three days, Year 7 students climbed, paddled, balanced, navigated and leapt headfirst into every challenge that came their way. From scaling climbing walls and tackling high ropes, to discovering halfway through canoeing that teamwork really does matter, students approached every activity with enthusiasm, resilience and plenty of laughter.
There were so many memorable moments across the weekend — acts of bravery, constant encouragement from teammates, campfire laughs, sticky s’mores and, by the final day, a few very tired faces too! It was wonderful to see confidence grow, friendships strengthen and comfort zones left firmly behind at the PGL gates.
Most importantly, the students were an absolute credit to themselves and the school throughout the trip. Their politeness, positivity, determination and energy made the weekend such a success. Even when the adults were surviving on caffeine and hope, the students continued to give every activity their all.
A huge well done to everyone who took part and embraced the experience so positively. Staff are incredibly proud of all the students and look forward to seeing that same enthusiasm and determination continue as the academic year draws to a close.
