DofE Bronze Practice Expedition 2026
41 Students participated in their Practice Expedition Friday 15th- Saturday 16th May. They had to navigate their way through Wendover woods to the designated checkpoints. Carrying their 65L rucksack with their tents, trangias and supplies for the two days.
The weather was definitely kind to us during the days, however, we had a first for our expeditions, there was ice on our tents in the morning! This meant sleep may have evaded lots of the students due to the cold, yet their resilience and resourcefulness to complete their Practice expedition really impressed the teachers.
We can't wait for the qualifier in June.
