Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Qualifying Expedition
Congratulations to our 41 Year 9 students who successfully completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award Qualifying Expedition recently.
Taking place just before the Red Weather Warning was issued, students completed two challenging days of expedition, successfully navigating their routes, checking in at every checkpoint and demonstrating excellent resilience, teamwork and resourcefulness throughout.
For many, the highlight was spending the evening at camp and toasting marshmallows after a rewarding day.
A huge thank you to the eight members of staff who gave up their time to lead, supervise and assess the expedition. Their support helped make this valuable experience possible.
