Remote Learning Information for Students (Years 7–10)
Whilst the Academy is closed, all students in Years 7–10 are expected to complete the remote learning activities set by their teachers, below:
MATHS
Remote Learning: Mathematics Work on Sparx (Years 7–10)
During the school closure, students in Years 7–10 will complete their mathematics remote learning through Sparx Maths.
All work has been set and students are already familiar with how to access the platform. No password is required to log in.
The tasks assigned on Sparx are compulsory and have been carefully selected to support students' learning and progress while they are working remotely.
Mathematics teachers will monitor completion and performance throughout the closure period and will provide feedback on the work when students return to school.

ENGLISH
Remote Learning: English Work on Educake (Years 7–10)
During the school closure, students in Years 7–10 will complete their English remote learning through Educake.
Students can access their work by signing in to Educake using their Microsoft 365 school account. The activities have been designed to support and reinforce key literacy, reading and language skills while students are learning remotely.

SCIENCE
Remote Learning: Science Assignments on Educake (Years 7–10)
During the school closure, students in Years 7–10 will complete their science remote learning through Educake.
All assignments have been uploaded and will become available from Tuesday 23 June, with a completion deadline of Friday 26 June.

Years 7–9 have been set three assignments each.

Year 10 have been set two assignments to allow time for revision across all of their examination subjects.
The tasks have been designed to reinforce key scientific knowledge and understanding while students are learning remotely.

GEOGRAPHY
Remote Learning: Climate Change Enquiry (Years 7–10)
During the school closure, students in Years 7–10 will complete a geography enquiry examining how society should respond to climate change. They will explore a range of solutions, evaluate their effectiveness, and reach their own evidence-based conclusion.
