12 students from AVA (yr 10s and yr 12s) spent Thursday 6th June - Saturday 8th June navigating, map reading and camping practice for their Silver Duke of Edinburgh award.

Last Monday Year 2 had a 'roarsome' day. They met Joel, who talked to the children about dinosaur fossils from lots of different types of dinosaurs.

Year 5 and 6 pupils were excited to welcome back Pari Thomson this week! Pari returned on the launch day of her sequel to Greenwild: The World Behind the Door, the novel she introduced to us earlier this year.

Year 4 had a fabulous day travelling back in time to Ancient Greece this week! We did our best poses as Greek statues and tried to hold them as long as possible, just like living statues.
