Silver Success: Students Complete Practice ExpeditioN
From Thursday 5th to Saturday 7th June, 35 of our Year 10 students embarked on their Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Practice Expedition, demonstrating resilience, teamwork, and a positive spirit throughout.
The three-day challenge tested their navigation skills, endurance, and ability to work effectively as a team. While the weather didn’t always cooperate and the terrain presented a fair share of obstacles, spirits remained high, and every group successfully completed the routes required.
As the map shows, students largely stayed on track (with only a few detours along the way!), gaining valuable experience ahead of their final qualifying expedition.
We’re incredibly proud of their determination and teamwork and look forward to seeing them take on the Silver Qualifier with the same energy and commitment.
