Celebrating Attenborough Day at AVA
On Friday 8th May, the Aylesbury Vale Academy community came together to celebrate the 100th birthday of legendary naturalist and broadcaster Sir David Attenborough.
It was fantastic to see so much green across the academy, with students and staff showing their support through creative touches including laces, bows, scrunchies, ties and more.
A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a success.
Special congratulations to the students involved in Miss Green’s Attenborough-inspired Art lesson, who produced some truly fantastic work. We are delighted to share a selection of their creations in the attached photos.
We have also received some brilliant entries for our wildlife competition so far. Entries remain open until Monday, so there is still time to get involved and submit your entry.
