Recently a group of our Student Parliament and Duke of Edinburgh students visited Green Ridge Primary School to work alongside younger pupils on the importance of caring for the environment and taking pride in our local community.

A fire crew and their engine visited school today to talk to our Reception children. It was a real highlight — the children loved seeing the fire engine up close (and even climbing inside!), and we could hear squeals of delight all the way from the staff room!

Every week we collect huge amounts of uniform and lost property left around school — from blazers and winter coats (not cheap!) to shoes, trainers and everything in between.
