Duke of Edinburgh’s Award – Parent & Carer Information Sessions
This year, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) has arranged a series of free virtual information sessions for parents and carers. These sessions are designed to help families understand what the DofE involves and what their child will be participating in.
The sessions cover sectional activities, eDofE and the DofE App, Assessor Reports and expedition support, as well as providing an opportunity to learn more about the DofE journey.
At Aylesbury Vale Academy, we offer Bronze, Silver and Gold DofE, giving students opportunities to develop confidence, independence, resilience and teamwork.
Our DofE enrolment assembly will take place in October. However, parents and carers are very welcome to attend one of these information sessions before their child enrols. They may be particularly useful if you are unsure whether DofE is right for your child and would like to find out more before making a decision.
