Year 10 Work Experience – May 2027
All Year 10 students will take part in Work Experience Week in May 2027. During this period, students will attend their work experience placements rather than their usual lessons.
Work experience provides students with a valuable opportunity to explore potential career paths, gain practical workplace skills and develop their confidence. It can be one of the most rewarding and influential experiences of their education.
Finding a Placement
Students, with support from their families, are expected to find and arrange their own work experience placements.
We encourage students to begin contacting potential employers as soon as possible to give themselves the best chance of securing a placement that reflects their interests and career aspirations.
If your child is unsure which career area interests them or is struggling to find a placement, please encourage them to explore the "Year 10 Work Experience Ideas" sheet emailed to students (copy attached below or HERE).
