Non-Fiction November

Whatever You're Into, Read Into It!
This Non-Fiction November, we are celebrating the National Year of Reading by encouraging students to explore reading through their interests.
The message is simple: Whatever you're into, read into it!
Whether your child loves football, gaming, music, fashion, animals, science or history, non- fiction reading can help them discover more about the things they enjoy. Articles, magazines, biographies, websites, newspapers and information books all count as valuable reading.
How Can You Help?
- Encourage your child to read about topics they are passionate about.
- Discuss interesting facts and articles together.
- Visit your local library or share non-fiction texts at home.
- Celebrate curiosity and learning beyond the classroom.
Reading about personal interests helps young people build knowledge, vocabulary, and confidence, while showing them that reading isn't just a school skill, it's a way to explore the world.
This November, whatever they're into, encourage them to read into it!
