Parents webinar: Supporting success in secondary exams | Educake

This session gives parents/carers practical, easy-to-use strategies to support learning at home. It’s completely free, and even if families can’t attend live, everyone who signs up will automatically receive the full recording, to watch at a time more convenient.

We genuinely see parent confidence at home as a key part of helping students feel more secure and successful in their revision.

Students receive all of their English home learning on Educake and are expected to sign in frequently to complete the assigned tasks. The home learning schedule for English is:

Week A:

• Monday - Year 8
• Wednesday - Year 11
• Thursday - Year 9 & 6th Form
• Friday - Year 10

Week B:

• Tuesday - Year 7
• Wednesday - Year 11
• Thursday - Year 9 & 6th Form
• Friday - Year 10

Please remind and encourage learners to sign in and complete tasks each week/ fortnight. Details about how to sign in are posted on Teams with supporting videos. If a learner has problems signing in, please email mpaskell@theacademy.me .
