Science & Careers Week: Year 7 Activities (Wednesday 04 and Thursday 05 March)

As part of our Science and Careers Week programme next week, we are excited to be running two special events for Year 7.
On Wednesday 04 March, we will be welcoming a NASA astronaut to the Academy. During Period 4, the astronaut will speak to Year 7 students about his experiences of travelling to space and what life is like as an astronaut. Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the session.
On Thursday 05 March, we will be hosting the WonderDome Mobile Planetarium. All Year 7 students will take part in an immersive, presenter-led show designed to inspire curiosity and future exploration of space.
To help cover the cost of the WonderDome visit, we are requesting a voluntary contribution of £3 per student, payable via ParentPay.
