Year 12 Student Shines at U.S. Cheerleading Championship
We are delighted to congratulate one of our talented Year 12 students, who recently had the incredible opportunity to represent her cheer team at a prestigious international cheerleading competition in the United States.
Competing on such a global stage is an outstanding achievement, and we’re incredibly proud of her commitment, passion, and teamwork.
Here’s what she had to say about the experience:
A few weeks ago, I travelled to America with some girls from AVA to compete in a major cheerleading competition. We’re all part of the Aylesbury Cheerleading Academy and have been training together for years. Last year, we earned a bid to compete at the Prep and Rec Grand Nationals — a huge event in the U.S. The trip was unforgettable. We spent so much time together as a team, both during the competition and exploring everything America had to offer. We’re proud to say we came home with first place — and each of us received a ring to celebrate our win!
