Careers in Genetics - Dr Denis Alexander, Visits Year 9 Students

Recently, Dr Denis Alexander visited our Year 9 students to inspire our learners to think about careers in genetics.

Dr Denis Alexander has had a prolific genetics career spanning many decades at Cambridge University. He is a research fellow of St Edmunds College, Cambridge. His work included exploration of the Bclx and Bcl2 genes, cancer research and molecular immunology. As a medical research geneticist, he has worked worldwide and became director of the Babraham Institute for Molecular Immunology in Cambridge.
