Primary - Remembrance Day Plans – November 11th
As we approach November we would like to share our school's plans for commemorating Remembrance Day this year. On Monday, 11th November, we are encouraging our students to join us in marking this important day by wearing the uniforms of any groups they participate in outside of school.
This includes Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorer Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers, Cadets, Boys’/Girls’ Brigade, St John’s Badgers, or any other uniformed organisations. By wearing these uniforms, we can honour the significance of Remembrance Day and showcase the sense of pride and community within our school.
Last year, we had a fantastic turnout, with many students and even staff proudly donning their uniforms, and we hope to see an even larger participation this year.
To mark the day, we plan to take a group photo of everyone in their uniforms to create a lasting memory of our collective efforts in remembrance. Let’s make this year's event a meaningful and memorable experience for everyone involved.
Thank you in advance for your support in making this day truly special.
