GCSE Results 2014

GCSE results at Aylesbury Vale Academy continue to improve with 84% of all students achieving 5+ A*-G grades at GCSE, with 38% achieving 5+ A*-C grades including English and Maths.

GCSE results at Aylesbury Vale Academy continue to improve with 84% of all students achieving 5+ A*-G grades at GCSE, with 38% achieving 5+ A*-C grades including English and Maths.

Results are in line with FFTB (Fischer Family Trust) projections for progress, which predicted:-

  •           English          56%    -     actual 54%
  •           Maths            51%    -     actual 61%

Whilst slightly under in English, results are well above the projection for Maths.

FFTB takes into consideration the deprivation factors ie: gender, date of birth, FSM during last 6 years and geographic location.

One in five students in the Academy are now making better than expected national levels of progress with the number of students making 4 Levels of Progress improving significantly.

We are very pleased with these results.  Students have worked very hard and deserve their success.  Some exceptional achievements include:
