Well done to all of our Year 13 students for the great results achieved in 2015, which is another year of improved results. 95% of our students achieved three A Levels or Vocational Qualifications with 48% achieving grades A*-C and 20% achieving a B or higher. Students who took A level equivalent qualifications, Level 3 Btecs, achieved very highly with 100% students achieving at least a Merit. 62% of those students achieved a Distinction with 31% achieving the highest grade, Distinction Star.

Many of our students secured the highest grades possible in their Level 3 Btecs attaining 3 ‘Distinctions Stars’. In Information Communication Technology, they were Shahdab Ahmed, Lee Potter, Jack Collis and Ismail Khan with Yusuf Collymore achieving the same feat in Sport and Ayesha Ali, Saaimah Bibi, Deanna Hatcher and Iednon Mohammed in Business Studies. A significant accomplishment for all of these students and an excellent foundation for the next stage in their education.

Before opening their results, many students had discovered that they had secured places at the universities of their choice and were looking forward to planning the next big step. Students were accepted at a wide range of institutions from Royal Holloway to Bedfordshire and pursuing a diverse range of courses from Law to Estate Management.
Three of our sixth formers, Joel Dignam-Murphy, Mark Andrews and Joseph Garricks are pursuing careers in the ever expanding gaming industry and have secured a place at the Falmouth University Games Academy where they will become the games designers of the future!

There were strong results in several subjects with the majority achieving a 100% pass rate but Media Studies, Performing Arts, ICT and Business Studies saw students perform beyond expectations.
Our students, with the help of a very dedicated staff, have worked extremely hard this year, showing commitment, perseverance and have kept the focus on high aspirations.

The hard work has paid off and our students can look forward to the next stage in their education, employment or training. They have achieved today and we are sure they will amaze tomorrow!
