STUDENT LEADERSHIP

We believe in empowering our students to become confident, responsible, and active members of both our school community and the wider world. Our Student Leadership Programme provides a wide range of opportunities for students to develop their voice, take on responsibility, and make a real difference.

Anti-Bullying Ambassadors Our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors work closely with staff and peers to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. Ambassadors meet weekly to lead initiatives to prevent and tackle bullying across the school. Throughout the year they also host events that support students and promote kindness.

Student Parliament The Student Parliament ensures that every pupil has a voice. Representatives from each year group meet regularly to discuss issues that matter most to our students, from teaching and learning, school facilities as well as issues in the local community. Their ideas and feedback help shape school policy and practice. Parliament also participates in National Parliament Week and debates linked to the Young Citizens scheme.

Prefects Our Upper School Prefects are role models for younger students, supporting departments during their lunchtime and representing the school at key events. Prefects also run a yearly community project with local feeder schools. This prestigious role helps them develop leadership, responsibility, and communication skills.

Eco Council Geography lead the Eco Council champions within the school. They lead campaigns on recycling, reducing waste, and environmental awareness, ensuring that our community plays its part in protecting the planet for future generations.

Culture Club The Culture Club celebrates diversity, creativity, and inclusion. Students organise events, projects, and activities that highlight different cultures and traditions, enriching the school experience for all and fostering respect for our global community.
