School Council

The School Council is an important part of the life of the school and pupils are elected by their peers towards the end of the previous school year, following nominations and parliamentary style hustings.

The school council meets regularly to help evaluate the school's provision and to provide a voice for the children in planning various events and initiatives.  Examples include charitable events and fundraising, improving break and lunchtimes provision and appointing new staff.

Additionally, the school operates a Head Boy and Head Girl system as well as house captains from our Year 6 group.
