We would like you to think about everything you have learnt this term in your topic Roar!

Literacy/ Topic

Today we would like you to become animal inventors! Your challenge is to design a new animal. This can a mix of your favourite animals or an imaginary animal. Draw a picture of your animal and write some words/ sentences describing it.

  • What does it look like?
  • What does it eat?
  • Where does it live?
  • What else can you tell us about your animal?


We would like you to complete the lesson below on sequencing numbers to 50

There are also lots of games on the links below that can used to practise Maths skills.

Children are also encouraged to read their school reading books.

Please bring in work completed today on the first day back after half term, have a lovely half term Year 1
