Anti-bullying Week, Week Commencing 10th - 14th November
The Anti-bullying ambassadors have been working incredibly hard to raise awareness and educate students on how to be an 'Upstander' and not a 'by stander'. During this week, in tutor time students will be learning about this year's theme 'Power for good'.
The Anti-bullying ambassadors have lots of fun activities planned for throughout this week. They are also looking forward to raising lots of money for the Anti-bullying alliance and also raising money towards our project to support students well-being at AVA. Watch this space !!
On Monday 10th November we will be holding 'Odd sock' day. This is a day to celebrate our differences and what makes us unique. All students are invited to wear 'Odd socks'. The brighter the better !! Normally school uniform expectations apply. A voluntary donation of £1 would be much appreciated. Anti-bullying ambassadors will be collecting these donations during tutor time on Monday 10th November.
On Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th November, the Anti-bullying Ambassadors will be selling raffle tickets in the Atrium at lunch time. These will be 20p each. Cash only. We will announce the winners on Friday 14th November.
HELP NEEDED....If anyone has any donations that we can use as prizes, this would be much appreciated. No alcoholic donations please. These can these be handed into Mrs Lloyd in E-01-06 or handed into main reception for the attention of Mrs Lloyd.
