Year 2 Enjoy a Roarsome Dinosaur Day!
On Monday, Year 2 had a truly roarsome day as they stepped back in time to explore the fascinating world of dinosaurs.
The children met Joel, who shared his knowledge of dinosaur fossils and introduced them to fossils from a variety of different dinosaur species. Aspiring palaeontologists for the day, the children took part in their own fossil dig, carefully excavating and examining discoveries before using clues and information to identify which dinosaurs the fossils belonged to.
The excitement continued when the children were introduced to two baby dinosaurs! They met Patrick the baby Triceratops and even caught a glimpse of Jake, a cheeky baby T-Rex, who was safely admired from a distance.
The rest of the day was packed with dino-themed activities, giving the children plenty of opportunities to learn, explore and have fun. It was a fantastic day of discovery that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
