Celebrating Culture Week (Primary)
Last week, pupils in the Primary Phase enjoyed a fantastic Culture Week, celebrating the diverse cultures, traditions and experiences that make our community so special.
The week began with children wearing clothing that reflected their culture or heritage. Pupils then came together to celebrate, enjoying a photo booth with props from around the world and taking part in a variety of cultural games and activities.
On Wednesday, we welcomed KASO Dance, who delivered engaging workshops introducing children to a range of cultural dance styles. The sessions were full of energy and enthusiasm, with pupils embracing the opportunity to learn new moves and explore different traditions.
Throughout the week, children took part in a variety of cultural activities across the curriculum, helping them to develop a greater understanding of the world around them while celebrating diversity and inclusion.
It was a wonderful week of learning, exploration and celebration, enjoyed by all.
