TECH 4 LEARNERS
Helping every student access learning at home 2026-2027
Aylesbury Vale Academy is pleased to launch Phase 4 (2026-2027) of our Tech 4 Learners scheme.
This initiative is central to our commitment that every student at AVA has access to a Microsoft-compatible device for use at home. We strongly believe in the positive impact that technology can have on learning beyond the classroom. When students have reliable access to appropriate devices and the skills to use them effectively, they are better able to engage with their studies and make stronger progress.
Through this scheme, we aim to ensure that students:
- Learn in modern, real-world ways, preparing them for further education and the digital demands of the workplace
- Access and complete home learning from anywhere, using cloud-based platforms to share work easily with teachers
- Benefit from improved outcomes in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and other subjects through regular use of their school Microsoft accounts at home
In partnership with Freedom Technology, we have developed a 1:1 device scheme designed to support these goals. We are confident that this programme offers excellent value for money, with competitive pricing and a comprehensive support package.
The scheme operates on an opt-in basis, and we hope you will recognise the value of contributing towards your child’s access to this important resource.
Pupil Premium support
Aylesbury Vale Academy will significantly subsidise the cost of devices for students who are eligible for Pupil Premium funding.
There are separate ordering forms for standard applications and Pupil Premium applications. Please ensure that you complete the correct form (below) and use the relevant login details provided in the Tech 4 Learners brochure.
