On Wednesday, the Mayor of Aylesbury, Steven Lambert, visited our Primary School.
Active Little Things will run daily Summer Holiday football camps at AVA from Monday 31 July to Friday 25 August.
On Monday, Year 2 had their Dino Day. It was a very exciting day, full of activities and even a visit from 3 baby dinosaurs!
We all feel very passionate about Reading for Pleasure at the AVA, and we hope all of our children will continue to read over the Summer break! We would like to introduce the Bucks Summer Reading Challenge to you all, which has been set up through the Bucks Library Service.
The inaugural AVA’Bury Festival last Saturday was a roaring success with more than 800 people from the school and local community descending on AVA for an afternoon of fun-filled activities and performances.
Huge thanks to the large number of staff and students who contributed to make the event as successful as it was.

AVA experienced a momentous occasion with the remarkable Evening of Expression held last Tuesday. Those fortunate enough to attend witnessed a splendid celebration of the boundless talents, vibrant culture, and infectious energy within our AVA community.
What an incredible evening it was on Friday, June 9th, as we had the privilege of hosting Tony Antonelli, a retired NASA astronaut, at the Aylesbury Vale Academy.
Year 3 children went on their first school trip last week to Tring Museum.
Year 6 held a Science Fair recently and welcomed lots of visitors throughout the
day and after school.
