Early Closure – Thursday 24 September 2026

Aylesbury Vale Academy will close early on Thursday 24 September to allow preparations for our annual Open Evening.

Collection/finish times:

  • Reception – 12 noon
  • Years 1 & 2 – 12.10pm
  • Years 3 & 4 – 12.15pm
  • Years 5 & 6 – 12.25pm
  • Years 7–13 – 12.25pm

Pre-School will operate as normal for both AM and PM sessions.

Primary children will have lunch before collection from their usual gates. Secondary students entitled to Free School Meals can collect a packed lunch from the Atrium as they leave.

Secondary students volunteering as Open Evening tour guides will receive separate permission slips.
