Year 1 Enjoy Memorable Farm Visit

Year 1 had a moo-vellous time on their visit to the farm this week, enjoying a day full of discovery, fun and hands-on learning.
From the moment they arrived, the children were full of excitement and curiosity, eager to explore life on a real working farm. They asked thoughtful questions, listened carefully and showed great enthusiasm for learning outside the classroom.
Throughout the day, pupils took part in a range of memorable experiences that brought their learning to life. Highlights included holding tiny, fluffy lambs, stroking the sheep, watching cows being moved to another field and climbing up into a real tractor, which was a firm favourite with many of the children.
The children were a credit to the school throughout the visit, demonstrating excellent behaviour, wonderful manners and a positive attitude to learning. They engaged brilliantly with Rose the farmer, who was impressed by their interest and enthusiasm.
It was a fantastic day packed with new experiences, smiles and laughter, and the children returned to school full of stories and new knowledge about life on the farm.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this special trip possible.
