Weather Related School Closures
Due to the extremely high temperatures forecast this week, including a Met Office Red Warning, it has been decided that the Academy will move to remote learning as follows:
Tuesday 23 June – Partial Closure
- Preschool: Closed all day
- Reception: Leave at 1.00pm
- Years 1–2: Leave at 1.10pm
- Years 3–4: Leave at 1.20pm
- Years 5–6: Leave at 1.30pm
- Years 7–13: Leave at 1.25pm
To help your child stay cool, please ensure they:
- Wear their PE kit
- Bring a refillable water bottle (we will encourage frequent drinking)
- Apply sunscreen before school
- Bring a hat/cap for any time spent out of doors
Wednesday 24 June
- Full site closure and remote learning
Thursday 25 June
- Full site closure and remote learning
Parents and carers will be updated regarding arrangements for Friday 26 June.
A letter containing full details of the closure arrangements, dismissal times and remote learning expectations has been emailed to all parents and carers today. A copy of the letter can be found HERE.
PRIMARY pupils will be provided with home learning tasks TUESDAY MORNING.
SECONDARY students will access remote learning via the school website - FURTHER DETAILS TO FOLLOW.
