Primary Remote Learning Feedback

We would appreciate some feedback on how your child has been able to access this week's remote learning. It would really help if you can complete the form below (click on the link below).

Please complete one form per child as each year group plans work to meet the needs of the specific age group.

Reception to Year 6 feedback form for remote learning during - w.c. 1 March 2021

Nursery feedback form for remote learning during - w.c. 1 March 2021

AVA Community Jigsaw

We are all part of a bigger picture. We are all like jigsaw pieces that fit together to form the AVA community. Make your jigsaw piece represent everything that is you, draw your feelings that might be represented in colours, pictures, doodles or words. When you have completed your jigsaw, stick it proudly in your window to show you ‘belong' to our school community. When we are able to get back together, our puzzle will be complete.

Take a photo and send it to your year group enquiry email.

Download the jigsaw template  here.

February Whole School Maths Challenge

During February we are challenging you to get your mathematical brains working.

Just pick the calendar that's right for you and try a new maths challenge every day.

You can see the calendars below, why not print yours and stick it on the fridge or your bedroom wall so you can tick off the challenges when you complete them.

Good Luck Mathematicians!

Everybody Worries

Written and illustrated by Jon Burgerman

In this bright and friendly picture book, children learn that it’s okay to worry about coronavirus. Fun rhyming couplets keep the tone gentle and supportive, and you will find plenty of ideas for dealing with coronavirus in a positive way.

Everybody Worries offers your child the reassuring message that this crisis will pass, we are there for them, and we will get through this together.
