Parent Guides

The school aims to offer support to parents and families to support their children’s wellbeing, learning and development.  Staff are happy to meet with parents to discuss any concerns they may have and to support in any way they can.

Our aim is to work with parents at every stage of their child's journey through school and we believe that our high expectations for learning can only be met if we share information and work in partnership.  The following guides summarise what we expect children to achieve in English and mathematics in Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) and in English, mathematics and science in Key Stage 2 (year 3 upwards).

Support for the Family

A range of information for parents seeking further support with childcare, learning, parenting and a whole range of other areas can be found at the Family Lives website and more localised information and support is available through the Buckinghamshire Family Information Service.

Additionally, the Berryfields Family Centre (Aylebury) which is on our site, works in partnership with the school running a variety of activities and services for children from birth to 5 years-old.  This includes health visitor clinics, family support, parent and toddler groups and a variety of other workshops and events.  Timetables of activities at the children’s centre or run by other local organisations in the community suite can be obtained from the school office.
